All I know is that texas holdem is winnable (player vs player), but most other games (roulette, craps, ,etc.) at the casino have a "house advantage", rendering you unable to win in the long run. What other games at casinos, like at Las Vegas, are actually winnable, provided you have the skill?
Answer:Black Jack, Baccarat, Roulette are all winnable in short term. If you have lucky break and win some money, grab it and run..
Answer:Poker is the only game classified as a table game that is winnable. In poker players play against each other, not a house edge, so in short you only have to be a better player than the majority of the other players to win long term.
No true casino table games are winnable long term, the only exception being Blackjack, although even if you play proper blackjack strategy the casino still holds an edge. The only way you can make blackjack winnable is by card counting, which is extremely difficult to do well enough to make money. You also run the risk of being caught and banned by the casinos, so you need to be able to do it long enough and well enough to win, which is highly unlikely for most people.
Answer:There is no such thing as a winnable game. The odds will always be against you. Look around inside a casino. Do you think they got all that money by offering winnable games?
Even the poker games, the house takes a cut from every pot, similar to how state lotteries get their rake. They win every hand, and they don't even have to look at the cards.
Now, the game that generally allows you to lose money the slowest, which is what you are really asking, is Blackjack. It has the smallest house advantage. If you are a math whiz with nerves of steel, and can keep that fact hidden from the casino security, you might have a chance. Otherwise, you'll be kicked out or worse. Remember, in a casino, winners are conspicuous and immediately suspect, because that's not supposed to legitimately happen.
Answer:There is NO amount of SKILL that can dent the house edge at a casino game - its IMPOSSIBLE
despite all the systems - ebooks - websites - proclamations, promises and guarantees
nothing can change a house favored game statistically into a player favored game
Now can you win? Well you can win at keno and big wheel on any given day - but thats because house edge does not mean they cheat you - you know the odds before you try - if you get lucky - you win - simple as that -
Any Gambler that plays can have a winning day but it does NOT change the cold facts and statistics of gambling when you win you are going against math and odds which suggest you are NOT favored to Win!!!
Good Luck:)
*****Not counting Expert Card Counting At Blackjack which is extremely hard to do and only gives the player a 1 to 3% edge over the house which is small and you probably are not gonna make money as fast as they do in movies******
Answer:I think that blackjack is winnable if you are at a good table. With blackjack there are some general rules to follow, like never hit on a 17 or stay if the dealer is showing a 6, etc. These rules have certain stats in favor of the player if the whole table is playing well and you all know what to do then everyone wins.
I have had really good luck with this.
It is necessary to walk away when things get bad
Answer:All games are winnable, but the chance is still unpredictable.
Sometimes it can be based on luck, sometimes on skills, but gambling is still gambling.
Answer:Poker and Blackjack have the best players' odds.
Answer:"Best Answer" to Miss Bon Bon.
She has it right on.
Answer:No, Mrs Bon Bon is not correct.
Blackjack is a winnable game, and it's not as hard as some make it out to be. There are several counting methods on the market that most people could learn to use well enough in a casino within a week or two that provide a small edge to the player. And no, they probably won't kick you out. I've been counting cards for years and winning money at blackjack, and have never taken much heat at all.
Craps is, in fact, a game you can create a statistical advantage at. It is possible to throw the dice in a certain way that reduces the frequency of the 7 enough to give the player an advantage. Some people question the legitimacy of this method, but the people who are the best in the world at it has mountains of statistical proof from simulated and actual casino play to make their case. Detractors have nothing but "I tried it and it didn't work."
Obviously, poker is a winnable game in the long run. A lot of people give it way to much credit though. The "average" player has a negative expectation at the game of poker in the long run because of the rake. The typical "good" player only has a small advantage over the rest of the players at the table, and can only expect to play around break even poker in the long run (give or take). Only a small percentage of people compared to the overall population of poker players are actual, long term winners.
There are a select few people who claim they can beat roulette through "wheel clocking." This is a method of quickly evaluating the speed and placement of the ball after it has been dropped to determine what section it will drop in, and throwing down bets before the croupier waves off betting. In theory this could produce a player advantage, but in actual, live casino play, it would be next to impossible to pull off and take years of practice (assuming you actually owned a casino quality roulette wheel) to perfect. Anyone claiming to be able to beat roulette with any other method is full of it though.
The only other game in the casino in which the player can create a statistical advantage is video poker. You do that by playing the proper machines and using perfect strategy. Obviously, this is not a table game though.
