okay, I'm having problems with a download screwing up my game so i wanted to find the downloads folder and delete it but there's no such folder. I found a "Collections" folder though, and the files in it are labeled as "packages". Would those be the custom content downloads?
Answer:Try deleting "saved sims", "teleport", if they exist. If not, delete "group.cache" and all the other files that are not inside subfolders within your The Sims 2 folder
Answer:The collections folder is simply a folder used to hold the different "collections" of furniture like "Moroccan" or "Modern" or "Fantasy" in the Buy/build mode. So that's probably not it.
If you can't find the download folder, are you sure you haven't moved it? Or did you create the folder in the wrong place?
