this happens when i try to establish my connection for xbox. i go to search for Connection. so my houses Wi-Fi connection name pops up. on the icon there is a little LOCK symbol. i select it, enter my WEP code. so then i search for the network and it wont connect……so i know that the Wi-Fi connection for the whole house is locked, so how do i unlock it. i allready have an xbox live account, i just cant get connected to it.
P.S. the internet on my computers work fine
Answer:It's not really "Locked". The little lock just indicates that your network is secured by a key of some sort. In your case you indicate you're using WEP. Entering the WEP key in to your Xbox when prompted should be all you need to do. It could be possible that you're doing something wrong or simply entered the wrong key.
As long as you're sure you have the right WEP key then try the instructions at the following link.

Answer:Well your probably using the wrong code, cause that's the only way to get past that little lock thing. Try another one.
