Hey which call of duty version is the best for ps3 is it call of duty 4 or modern warfare 2 please reply?

i want a very long game so that i can play for a very long time and not get boring and also support 2 player too

Answer:Neither one have a very long single player mode. Now for online play the replay value is great. I would play either one online. I like them both. I like MW2 more for the time being simply because it's the newer game and I like the way they've implemented the Killstreak rewards so that everyone doesn't have the same thing.
Answer:They are both great games in general, but I strongly recommend "Modern Warfare 2" at this point. I think that "COD4" is really outdated at this point and people should be moving on to the next game.

The campaign-mode on "Modern Warfare 2" is short like the one on "COD4" too, but its Special Ops mode adds a lot more to the actual game itself. The online is deeper in terms of menus: arranging your classes and the leaderboards etc. The guns, maps, and the overall spawn-system might not be as good as "COD4", but with the right amount of experience you'll be able to adapt.

Again, I think you should pick up "Modern Warfare 2" because it's the new thing now and more people are playing it.

Answer:It really depends. If you like to play through the single player and get the whole story, you should start with COD4. If you want to jump right into multiplayer, definitely choose modern warfare 2. It has more guns, perks, killstreaks, and maps. I have a friend who just got the game a month ago and is already better than me at it. He loves it and asks me to get on with him every day. To tell you the truth though, I think whichever one you pick, you will be happy (although I strongly recommend MW2).
